So what are we going to do when I finish? Stay in Providence? Go back to Orlando? No and no. We're moving back home to the Bay Area.
And...insert drum roll...we are in the process of buying a townhouse. We were planning on buying a home (most likely an older home that we could renovate) once we got back, but this place just sort of fell into our laps, and we absolutely love it. It's in a great neighborhood (hola Palo Alto!), it's a great fit for our lives right now, and since they are currently building it, it should be ready for us to move in shortly after we get back in December.
The first four photos are of the model homes, and the last five are our place! Our front door faces a street and 3 beautiful redwood trees. Plus we're getting the open layout we love, high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows...and did I mention that it's one of the largest solar powered communities in the area? That's right! We're going to have a solar panel on our roof. Fantastic!
I'll keep posting updates on the building progress. Well, at least until we have to go back to Providence in September.
