Word.

This afternoon I was pulling out of our apartment parking lot about the time that the local school was letting out. On my left, I saw a grandmother walking her three grandkids home, so I slowed the car and waited. As they passed, the youngest boy (he couldn't have been more than 6), looked at me, hit his chest two times, and threw me the peace sign.

It was amazing. And it totally made my day.

Weird.

I've officially completed my first week of classes. It looks to be a good semester (as in no teachers from hell), but I have to say, it also looks to be one of my busiest semesters.

But I'm not so much interested in that, what I am wondering though is why in the name of all things strange did I wake up 3 days ago with my ring finger swollen and barely movable? I've almost got full mobility back, but it's still swollen and a bit sore...and I can't even get my wedding rings on. Any takers on this?

Also, why, in the middle of Red Sox Nation, did I find NY Yankee peanuts in the supermarket?

So many questions...

Shiny!

A new day. A new place (we're back in Providence). A new school year. So why not a new website? The old one was just getting way too stale.

I do the design work, but I'm completely helpless when it comes to making things happen on the web. So Herman is the webmaster, hard at work, mastering my website. The whole thing should be up and running by the end of today.

So enjoy! Or whatever.
